Now that Samsung has finally rolled out an update for the Gear Fit, users are now given the power to switch screen orientations depending on what they’re comfortable with. When the device first came out, the Samsung community was appalled with the fact that the display could only be viewed in the horizontal orientation. This stood as an inconvenience, especially since it’s difficult enough to read something on a small screen, what more when it’s strapped to the wrist at an odd angle?
Anyway, users are now free to change the orientation to vertical with the new update. It’s fairly easy too. All you’ll need to do is to scroll through the options on your Gear Fit. Select Display, then Rotate Screen. You may now tap on either Vertical or Horizontal.
