Netizens have been keeping a close eye on Apple’s new recruits for its iWatch project. It seems that the company’s newest member is an expert in the field of sleep research. Mr. Roy J.E.M Raymann hailed from Philips Research. He has quite the experience in terms of wearables. He excels especially in sleep research. This is further proven by the many sleep related projects he had during his stint with Philips. These projects aimed to provide the wearer with a good night’s sleep.
Though an attempt has been done by others, especially those behind fitness trackers, it seems there still isn’t a sleep tracking device that’s worth noting. Apple may be on to something here.
It’s safe to say that Apple is taking its iWatch project seriously. Hopefully, we’ll be able to know more as it takes shape.
